The Selker is a model of Engineering Chassis that can be installed on a Mobile Trench.

Description[]

"A small, nimble frame that proves size doesn't matter. While it might not be able to carry the most impressive weapons, it more than makes up for that in its ability to throw a wide variety of emplacements for a small amount of Scrap."

Tactical Appraisal[]

The Selker is the lightest trench offensively, only capable of using 1-slot weapons, and even then only two of them - but as an engineering trench it can throw out the cheapest possible turrets- and with two lights and two heavies, this little Trench is an absolute beast at establishing defense lines.

The Selker's emplacement-based tactical options are extremely valuable, with the ability to bring the traditional Snipers and Mines all on its own being a great boon, all while also happily supplying whichever two Light emplacements are most requested in a team. The lack of Support turrets is a notable downside that often keeps the Selker from consideration in serious solo play, but is less of an issue when teammates are considered.

The Selker is a chassis that loves a little assistance. In team play a Selker is a great thing to see, as many Heavy emplacements are extremely valuable, but difficult to slot in properly on a usual team- meanwhile the Selker can easily fit the "required" heavy emplacements all on their own, or can slide in as the fun extra utility option single handedly utilizing gimmicks such as Barrels and Mortars while the rest of the team handles the essentials.

Player Notes[]

  • The Mk I Selker's unique loadout of emplacements is the only instance of alternative loadouts under the same chassis name in the game.
