Pylon is the last mission of the Europe campaign of Iron Brigade. Resembling a hermit crab of technology the Pylon lives in the side of a large hill with a back full of antennas and power lines.

Walkthrough
Edit
Fighting the Pylon is a three part battle. The first is a straight forward assault as the Pylon's head remains still allowing the players to tear apart its health.
After the first health bar is removed a shield appears around the Pylon's head and it pulls itself further out of the hill with six spider like legs, the target at this point is each of the Pylon's legs.
Once the legs are all destroyed the Pylon will fall on its face and eventually lose its shielding, at which point it will get up for its final attempt to destroy you. The target at this point is simply the head as the shields have been disabled.
Gold Medal
Edit
Beating this boss in 40 seconds may seem impossible your first time, but with a little practice and the right weapons its actually very easy. Using quickload legs is a must as this cuts reloading time by more than half. The Gungnir is a great sniper to use for this boss and any high damage artillery cannons can also be helpful.

Notes
Edit
- Pylon is able to be completed in the shortest amount of time out of all the campaign maps, this has lead those searching to be at the top of the leaderboard for 'Most Games Played' to repeatedly beat Pylon
