- With its high rate of fire, it has the highest DPS per slot amongst Sniper Cannons against single targets at roughly 40, just outshining the L4-2Y "Hyper" Sniper (39.5).
- Only the Albert (due to Pierce), R1-FS "Carpet Bomber" (due to Charge), and Super Indirect Sniper Cannon (due to Ricochet) can beat the M3200 Spurt Rifle's DPS, and they cannot beat its damage against a single target.
- Due to its firing in bursts, the Spurt Rifle is also much more useful to Cathys and Knobs than traditional Sniper Cannons.
- While highly outclassed by the Muerte Fiesta Numero 6 in this role, the M3200 Advanced Spurt Rifle is technically the best Sniper Cannon vs all Boss tubes such as the infamous Volt Dropper due to its high single target DPS.
